BlockFall is a free puzzle game published by Vikash Raj ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. The short version: the game has no accounts, asks for no personal details, and keeps your scores on your device. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising SDK needs to show ads.
To make the game work, BlockFall saves the following in the app's private storage on your device. It is never uploaded to us and we cannot see it:
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. If Android's automatic app backup is enabled on your device, Android may include this data in your Google account backup under Google's own terms.
BlockFall shows ads through Google AdMob, part of the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Ads keep the game free. To request and show ads, the SDK automatically sends some information to Google, including:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (a resettable identifier) | Ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and — where you have consented — personalised advertising |
| IP address and coarse (city-level) location derived from it | Serving ads relevant to your region, fraud prevention |
| Device and app information (device model, OS version, language, app package and version) | Choosing an ad format that fits the device; measurement |
| Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view time) | Ad measurement and reporting |
| Diagnostics (crash and performance signals from the SDK) | Keeping the ads SDK stable |
Google processes this data under its own policies. Please read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's Privacy Policy.
BlockFall does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera, and does not require an account or sign-in. The app itself has no analytics or crash-reporting service beyond what is described in section 2.
BlockFall is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The ads SDK is configured so that ads are not treated as child-directed and content is limited to a "PG" rating.
Data sent by the ads SDK travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and is retained by Google according to Google's policies. Data stored on your device stays there until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it.
If the app starts handling data differently (for example, if we add online leaderboards), this page will be updated and the effective date changed. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
